Broken Rib!

Six days ago I had a hard wipe out, I crashed pretty hard on my ribs. After four days of rest I tried to go on the water again, but when I launched my kite from the beach I felt already that something was wrong. One day later I tried to ride again but now with a seat harness, but it was still not possible to do my unhooked tricks.
This morning I went to the clinic in San Pedro on Isla Coche to get an X-ray. After 45 minutes waiting, walking from one room to another and after the doctor finished is pacman game on his computer he finally made an X-ray picture from my chest. As you can see on the picture I broke my rib, the rib got lose from the spine. The doctors told me that I’m not able to ride for 6 weeks!!! Especially now the competition is starting Wednesday, so no PKRA stop Venezuela for me.
I will relax here a bit, get some more suntans and help my friend Pauline Boussard with the competition. My flight back home is the 7th of May together with Bram Bast and we will be on the Kiteboard Open, maybe already kiting!
