Nescafé on the waves

After a flight of three hours and 15 minutes I arrive in a warm and windy Athens. The organisation from the event arranged somebody who brings me to the port, to get on the boat to Paros. During the four hour boat trip I meet Mr. Klaudatos, the owner of the Agali Beach Club, his friend Alex, the speaker and the DJ for the “Nescafé on the waves” Agali Beach Club event.
Around 23:00 we arrive on Paros and they dropped me off at my apartment where Steve Verelst, Belgium Best Team Rider, already is. It is cool to see Steve again and to hang out with him, it has been a long that we have ride together.
Next morning Alexia picked us up and brought us to the Agali Beach Club. It is a super nice beach club with two nice big bars and 100 meter from the water. Miguel Willis also Best Team Rider is also here with some friends. We are all here to make a awesome kiteboarding show!
After a nice Nescafé Frappé and a Club Sandwich it is time to go on the water. The wind is offshore and pretty gusty, the perfect wind for my 7m Waroo08. I had a great session with some nice kiteloops and board offs.
Sunday we had again a nice session, the wind was a little bit stronger and a more stable. Unfortunately I already need to leave at the end of the day. I need to get on the boat of 20:00, cause my flight is at 3:20 in the morning. This morning I arrived around 10:00 at my home in Emmeloord, The Netherlands, it was a not a long trip but it was worth it!
