PKRA Germany: Day 1 – 2

After a drive of 7 hours we finally arrive in SPO. Normally it is a 5-hour drive, but because of the big traffic jams near Bremen and Hamburg we had some delay. But we arrived just in time for the registration and to pick up our key for our apartment.
Day 1
Today the trails for the main event will start. I’m in heat four together with two other guys, the best two will go to the main event. Around 14:00 the race director gives the sign that we are going to start the freestyle trails. There is a lot of rain but the wind is pretty good, I’m going on the water with my 11m. After seven minutes I qualify myself to the main event 
Day 2
Yesterday we bought some nice boots for the rain and all the water on the beach and they are worth it! With nice and warm feet’s the waiting day can start, not so much wind today and the wind is going to drop around 14:00. The PKRA made the drawing for the Single Elimination and I’m against Cesar Portas in the first round, so we will see how it ends. Around two o’clock the freestyle riders are released for today, it is time to go home.
