Video / Venezuela 2009 & Third place @ Sticked
Posted on 04.06.09 / This post has 2 commentsAfter coming back home for one day after five weeks in Venezuela I went with to a competition on my homespot Mirns, Sticked “The Kitesurf Season Kick Off”. It was cool to meet up with my friends again and to hang out with them.
The first day of the competition we got some unexpected wind and it was possible to run all the three disciplines, Wonder of Sticked, Girls Only and the Pro Contest. The special thing about this competition was that the riders were judging each other, what worked out pretty good.
Around two o’clock the Pro Contest started, this discipline was only for invited sponsored riders. In the final I was competing with Thomas Deheane (Belgium), Stefan Permien (Germany) and Youri Zoon (Netherlands) for the Pro Contest title. I ended up at a third place, Stefan Permien got second and Youri Zoon got first. Sunday there was no wind at all so after the price giving the competition got canceled. I would like to thank the organization and all the sponsors for the cool event!

super sick Video, just saw it first time, because in Ras Sudr i didn`t have any proper Internet! Now i am in el gouna for 2 more weeks, then we can pose a little bit in Mirns together! haha, really nice video, poser, styler, bas het wijt………! And of course nice action!
Congrats for 3rd place in sticked!
