Airush 2010 Dealer Meeting

Last week I’ve been on Fuerteventura for the 2010 Airush Dealer Meeting. Down south in Sotavento at the René Egli Pro Center all the distributors could see and test the new 2010 Airush gear. Besides Airush the other side of the company, Starboard, had also their dealers together. It was a week full of water sports, Kiteboarding, Windsurfing and SUP!

On the first day of the meeting we had an “early morning” team building  SUP session, well I can tell you SUP is harder than it looks and especially around 6:30 in the morning. But it was cool to be on the water and I even managed to catch some small waves!

After a good “all-inclusive” breakfast with pancakes, croissants, fruit and much more it was time for the presentation of the 2010 Airush products. In 2010 Airush will come with the following kites; DNA (school kite), Lithium, Lithium LightWind, Vapor IV (will come in Februari 2010) and the Generator (C-Kite). Also Airush comes up with the new “Smart” bar for 2010, it is an extendable length bar. They also add three new boards to the range, the X Over (Cross over board), Vector and the Skim. The ProToy, FS, Switch, ChopTop and Coverse are also still in the range.

After all the information me and a good friend of mine Robin van Baarle (SkyHigh.nu) went on the water for a light wind/upwind ride with the Monaro and Sector. After we came back from our touristic session, the wind picked up and I had a nice session in the lagoon with the new ProToy 135*41 and my VaporIII 10m.
