During the weekend of 8 and 9 May a group of students organized the first NSKK (Dutch Student Kiteboarding Championship). Because there was no wind, they organized some funny no wind competitions. On Saturday there was a SUP (Stand Up Paddle) race and a Best Trick on the SUP during the race. After we all we had a big laugh and the organization came with the results. I got third during the SUP race, but my 360 on my SUP board during riding a small wave made me the winner of the Best Trick!
On Sunday the wind picked up a bit to late. After the estafette downwind race, where I got fourth (last) with my team, the wind picked up and I had a great session. I couldn’t have wish for a better birthday present, a nice session with friends is perfect!
Next is Friends of Friestyle, hopefully there is some good wind!
