To add some style at your riding, you might want to learn the Nose Press. During the Nose Press you are riding on the rail of the nose of your board. For a real long Nose Press, with a lot of speed, you need to take off your fins. As soon as you find the right balance you can keep on going for a log time.
To perform this trick you need be powered, because this will help you to keep speed during the whole move. Ride full speed with your kite at an angle of 45 degrees.
Now turn your board in the direction as you would do for going to toe side, but stop after 90 degrees. Push with your front leg the rail of the nose in the water and pull with a stretched back leg the board up, keep your weight above your front leg. This is the position you want to keep during the whole trick, it is a matter of finding the right balance.
Don’t let your kite come to high, because than you will lose forward speed and you will not be able to make a long Nose Press.
* Preform this trick in really flat water for a long and consistent Nose Press. Bindings will give you more controle during the trick, but it is definitely not necessary.
