Intro:
My name is Bas Koole and I kite since the beginning of 2003. Before kiteboarding I did windsurfing, inline-skating and platform diving. Those sports helped me with practicing of kiteboarding. Because of windsurfing I learned how to handle with the wind and the waves, inline-skating helped me with keeping balance on kickers and sliders. Owing to platform diving I created more bodycontrole and I learned how to handle a hard crash on the water.

School:
This season I started with the study on the “Johan Cruyf University”, it is a study about Sports Marketing and Management. With this study I will learn a lot about the sports business and that will help me in the future to get a nice job.

Target:
My target for this season is to train as hard as possible and to try to put down good results. Off course I want to promote my sponsors and I want to make a lot of nice pictures and movies.

Favorite Trick:
I don’t really have a favorite trick, i like to put a lot of variation in my tricks. High Board Off’s and technical wakestyle tricks; I like them all!

How to learn it:
Before you are going to buy your equipment, take a kite lesson. A kite lesson is very important, during this class you will learn the basic steps. A kite has so much power, so take a lesson before you start practicing on your own. Take a look at website from the kite school Sky High.
